Before you start

Do my staff need to install anything?

No. Your staff can use Schedlynx in any browser, or add it to their home screen like an app. Anyone who’d rather not can act from the links in their emails, or texts if you add them, with no password.

What happens when someone calls out?

They tap “I can’t make it”. Everyone who fits is asked to cover at once, and you choose from their requests. On Pro, the cover can fill itself: the first good fit, or the best one, takes the shift.

What does it cost?

A free 30-day trial, and during the pilot we can extend it. Every workspace has everything in Pro. Prices arrive with billing, and no workspace is charged without choosing a plan.

Can I schedule rooms and equipment too?

Yes. Rooms, vehicles, and equipment go on the same board as your people, with their own conflicts.

Does it work across several locations?

Yes, on Pro. People can work at more than one location, and their hours count across all of them.

Where do texts work?

In Canada today. During the pilot, texts are switched on for a workspace on request. Push and email work everywhere.

Can my customers book appointments?

No. Schedlynx schedules your team and the rooms and equipment they use. If your customers book appointments, keep your booking tool for them; Schedlynx runs your team’s side.

Why does the app say entries instead of shifts?

Because the same board schedules rooms, vehicles, and equipment too. An entry is a shift when a person works it.
